This Thursday night, see Wall-E under the stars—for free!
The event—Screen on the Green—is organized by SFU’s Community Trust. It is the first of what organizers hope will become an annual event.
The Pixar film follows a robot named Wall-E who was left after all the humans, suffocating from their own consumerism, ditched Earth to live on a big ship in the sky. Wall-E spends every day doing what he was made for: picking up and compacting trash in the vain attempt to clean up the toxic planet. But soon, he will discover what he was “meant” for, as he adventures across the galaxy chasing his dream.
To watch this free public outdoor screening of Wall-E, be at The Meadow (the large grassy areas Northeast of South Campus Road and Gaglardi Way) at sunset (8:30pm) on Thursday, August 20th.
More information is on the UniverCity website.
