I like Nuba for the yummy, original, real food. It has a great bartender who makes creative cocktails, often classics with a modern West Coast twist.

 

The Greedy Pig is low-key and private—it can’t be seen from the street. Great whiskey cocktails, hearty meaty meals and friendly and flexible staff and owners.

 

Then there’s Guu: lively, friendly, tasty. An izakaya with a ton of heart and good energy.
