From November 2 to 12, The Cultch presents the Frank Theatre company’s production of How Black Mothers Say I Love You. This play tells the story of a working immigrant mother who left her two young daughters behind in Jamaica as she tries to build a better life for the family in America. 3. Boundless by Chor Leoni – Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11

Juno-nominated Chor Leoni is back for its 32nd annual Remembrance Day concerts. “Through folk, pop and modern choral works, you’re invited to listen, reflect on the cost of war, and heal through the search and hope for peace.” The choir will be made up of 70 voices, accompanied by special musical guests, such as pianist Tina Chang, cellist Jonathan Lo, organist Angelique Po and trumpeter Katherine Evans.

With nearly 450 artists, Eastside Culture Crawl is back with a bang for its 27th annual event. The four-day open studio event is free to join, along with artist demos, the 10th annual Moving Art film series and a multi-gallery exhibition called ‘Out of Control’.
