Sḵwálwen Botanicals – Changing the Face of Skincare
Ruth Olde, of Blasig Landscape Design Construction Ltd., was faced with a challenge: A long, narrow passageway on the north side of a house, just outside the kitchen window, was dark and uninspiring.
With the permission of the neighbour to incorporate their space, she and her team created an airy and uplifting hallway.
The overhead arbour pieces are not connected to each other as this would darken the house; any improvements to the garden should be made with the inside of the house in mind.
All hard materials are within this homeowner’s property lines. Should anyone move in next door and wish to change their side, no severe impact would be made other than losing the icing on the cake – the plants.
