Local company manufactures hand sanitizer, and donates to province's health heroes
Scentuals, a female-founded manufacturer of 100 percent natural skin and body care products based in Coquitlam, is now producing hand sanitizer and including them in donations to the health care heroes at B.C. Health. Scentuals has been making aromatherapy and skin care products using natural, cruelty-free, and ethically-sourced ingredients since 2008 and is proud to be adding hand sanitizer to its production line. Although never having anticipated being a producer of the alcohol-based product, Scentuals saw a growing need in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and wanted to support their community in this crisis.
It was that desire to help and a deep sense of community that fueled Scentuals to organize donations of their Scentfree Hand Repair Cream to local health-care and essential service workers as a thank you for being on the front lines of this global health crisis. These donations now include hand sanitizers each month to B.C. Health to support health-care professionals and local essential service workers during this difficult time.
