Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup (150 g) B.C. blueberries, fresh or frozen
- ¾ cup (175 ml) unsweetened soy, rice or almond milk
- ½ cup (75 g) banana, chopped
- ½ cup (20 g) fresh spinach leaves, packed
- ½ cup (120 ml) grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed
- ¼ cup (60 ml) plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) maple syrup (optional)
- 2 tsp (10 ml) ground flax seeds
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a blender.
- Blend on high speed until smooth.

Blueberry Pineapple Ginger Smoothie

- 1 cup (240 ml) light unsweetened coconut or almond milk
- ¾ cup (175 ml) plain yogurt
- ¼ cup (35 g) pineapple chunks, fresh or frozen
- 2 tsp (10 ml) maple syrup
- 2 tsp (10 ml) fresh ginger, finely grated
- ¼ tsp (pinch) ground turmeric (optional)
Instructions
- If using frozen fruit, allow to partially thaw or add water to thin out as desired.
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend on high speed until smooth.
Makes 3 cups
