Spreading wisteria

Recently we called an arborist to determine whether a very robust Celatrus scandens would damage the large Douglas fir that it was climbing in and he said not to worry about it.

I imagine that your wisteria falls into a similar category. As long as the cedar looks healthy, it’s probably fine. As far as the septic field, I would worry more about the tree roots than those of the wisteria. Also, it’s not clear the distance between the field and the plants. Perhaps you could ask your septic tank specialist on this one.
