Experience: Try snow tubing at the bubly™ Tube Park in Whistler

Location: Blackcomb Mountain, Whistler

Bucket list factor: One of the most popular places to visit in B.C. during the winter months has to be Whistler. If you’re heading up there this season and want to try something besides the typical skiing or snowboarding, snow tubing might be for you. The bubly™ Tube Park is located at the Base 2 Zone of Blackcomb Mountain and is a great alternate activity for all ages. There are seven lanes in the park, ranging from a mini-slope for those who want to ease into this adventure to fast lanes for the dauntless adventure-seekers. A magic carpet lift will take you from the bottom of the slope to the top.

Tips and Important Info

  • Tickets are sold online and at the tube park. They are available in one- and two-hour formats.
  • There are no lockers or storage available, so travel light!
  • Children must be at least 3 years of age and a minimum height of 36-inches (91 cm) tall.
  • You’ll be having fun in the snow, so dress in warm, winter clothing/ This includes: base layers, full snow gear or waterproof pants, winter jacket and warm boots with a good grip.
  • No ski or snowboarding boots allowed.
