We uncover the most picturesque and unique Airbnb stays beautiful British Columbia has to offer
A true hideaway, this cabin is tucked neatly along the Jordan River. Guests can fully immerse themselves within nature as they’ll have access to 2.5 acres of land all to themselves.
This private refuge houses five people, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The outside of the residence looks sleek with a flat roof and an overall black exterior. Once you head inside, you’ll find wooden walls with black accents throughout. The interior perfectly mirrors the exterior to create a streamlined look. There is no sacrificing style and modernity–even if you’re in the woods!
The open concept interior offers a full loft, where you’ll find a queen-sized bed and separate soaking bathtub. After a long day, relax in the tub with a glass of red in hand as you gaze out the window at the night stars.
In the main living floor, there is one full bathroom with a standing shower, the kitchen and another bedroom. The kitchen is fully suited with a coffee machine, stove and refrigerator. The pantry is also stocked with condiments, so you won’t have to bring your own. Just bring your produce and you will have everything you need to cook a full meal.
Cozy up on the couch with your loved ones as you wind down for the day, listening to the fire wood crackle in the wood-burning stove.
Head on outside to find a beautiful large fire pit with seating. Firewood is provided by the hosts for convenience! There are overhead fairy light decorations in the backyard area, so you can enjoy a whimsical night out roasting marshmallows and enjoying the evening breeze.
Some hidden extras include radiant floor heating throughout the main living space, an ensuite washer and dryer and a BBQ grill!
Although this cabin is situated in the woods, it is just minutes away from surfing, hiking, beach combing and star-gazing. Take a hike to China Beach and catch the sunset off the water, or drive down to the Jordan River Regional Park. For other nearby attractions, you can visit Sandcut Beach to see a beautiful waterfall, or hike the Botanical Beach trails for clear waters and admire nature’s artwork in the form of sedimentary rocks.
