  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup dried lavender flowerets

  1. Cream together butter and sugar.
  2. Stir in flour and lavender. Mix with fingers until just blended (over mixing will toughen the cookie).
  3. Roll into ‘logs’ and refrigerate until firm.
  4. Slice dough or roll out and cut with desired shape.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 8-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the cookies, until the edges are just slightly golden brown.
