Remember the good old days with a creamsicle float

This cold, frothy orange creamsicle float will remind you of days gone by

Remember, back in the day
. . . Fudgesicles, Creamsicles, Popsicles, all the retro frozen treats that embraced summer. Why not take that great flavour and turn it into a frosty drink?

  • 4 ice cubes

  • 1 cup low-fat vanilla ice milk

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • ¼ cup orange juice

  • 8-ounce bottle old-fashioned cream soda

  1. Place the ice cubes in a blender and buzz a few times to break them up.
  2. Add the ice milk, vanilla and orange juice. Buzz to incorporate the ingredients.
  3. Add the cream soda and buzz the blender just long enough to mix in the soda.
  4. Pour into 2 tall drinking glasses, add colourful straws and enjoy!

Makes 2 floats.

Alternatively, mixture can be poured into popsicle trays and frozen for a tasty iced treat.
