Whole Wheat Pasta with Arugula and Dungeness Crab

Create a gourmet dish in no time with this simple and delicious pasta recipe


  • 1 lb whole wheat spaghetti
  • 5 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp chili flakes
  • 4 cups baby arugula leaves
  • 200 g Dungeness crab meat
  • extra olive oil for drizzling


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium high heat, add olive oil, minced garlic and chili flakes and sauté until fragrant; about one minute.  Remove from heat and set aside. 
  2. Drain pasta and add to the skillet. Toss to coat and place pasta into a warmed serving dish.
  3. Garnish with fresh arugula, crab meat and a drizzle of olive oil.
  4. Serve immediately.

Serves four.
