The big moment: The crowd gathered to find out who would be the lucky winner of the grand prize—an eco-makeover courtesy of body politic and Aveda Canada. Congratulations to Carolyn Debenham of Vancouver!

body politic hosts a fun night of sustainable shopping for a worthy cause

Vancouver ecofashionistas descended upon Main Street boutique body politic on August 25, 2010 for Eco Shops for a Cause, a fun night of sustainable shopping, with 10 percent of the proceeds benefiting the David Suzuki Foundation.

The event was a huge success, and the meeting of kindred spirits in Vancouver's fashion community created a lot of positive buzz for local and international ecofashion labels. What a fantastic lead-up to Vancouver's first Eco Fashion Week!
